Polka Dots

Modelled by Joy is a very cute, versatile polka dot patterned shirt.

I really admire the versatility of the top as it can be worn with a belt as displayed above or even tied. It just shows that the oldest of things in your wardrobe can always be revived with just a little Creativity! She has created many different looks just by changing the style of the top. The first look above says to me a bit of a laid back look which works fine with her military like boots. The second looks gives the impression of going for a bit more of a defined look which she has used an additional accessory for, the belt which she has also used a bit of creativity with by creating a bow like shape at the front. I personally like both looks because they can both be worn for different occasions and for a certain impression you may be trying to give off. Polka Dots have the tendency to add character to other garments. Once Polka Dots are incorporated they somehow subsitute as an accessory.

I AM BUTTON CRAZY!
Well considering both of my Fashion Projects will be involving using a load of buttons, I really like the Gold buttons used on this garment. I always say that the Designer could have gone for the normal 4 button holed style but they put a slight more notion into it because these are there not only as a functional aspect but also as a Fashion decoration.

Guy Fresh#1

Hello and Welcome to the ‘GUY FRESH’ section of my Blog; showcasing some of the Male Fashion I have researched into or simply just a garment of accessory I have taken an interest in. As Male Fashion isn’t my main line of interest, it would be nice once in a while to capture some items that I think are appealing that I will then show on here.
Hope you enjoy J

Starting off is this bag that my dear Randell was wearing. I found it quite Fashionable and the colour was very appealing. I like this bag because I myself would carry it which I think was the reason I was attracted to it. Simple briefcase like bag; this colour I believe is very in with the guys at the moment with the new trend of the granddad shoes (blog coming soon), so they seem to be going for more stylish colours and Black which is Original never goes out of Fashion but when looking for something that would make you stand out of the crowd, Brown would be a better choice. I like the fact that this bag is very versatile in the sense that you could wear with a lot of the things in your wardrobe.

Before this Blog had even started, I always had this Image saved in the Hope that one day I would actually get round to making a Blog…which I have done now!! J But back to the point…I think this dress is PHENOMENAL!
It is not exactly everybody’s cup of tea but I think I would certainly wear it. I love the fact that it had been inspired by African wear, traditional patterns and designs. I fell in love with this dress…it just screamed at me when I saw it; its uniqueness…I mean how many other people would you see in a dress like this.
The colour scheme is very bright and somehow futuristic to me; the colours at the top are in smaller bundles at the top but as you get to the bottom they all seem to spread out. I love the tightly fitted top which really accentuates her decent cleavage and exhibits her rather good figure. The dress doesn’t look the most functional and doesn’t look easy to walk in but Kimora Lee definitely did well with this dress; I think she pulled it off Fantastically!
Wherever she went in this dress, I am sure she received the most attention.

Modelled by Samantha Larbi is this wonderful spectrum of colours in a bangle.
I absolutely love the choice of colour the designer has used, the detail that has gone into it as you can see they are made up of little square gem like stones. Despite some missing, I really like the colour scheme that the designer went for. I think this has inspired me to work a lot more with colours and experiment more before finalising on one idea. I love the fact that it is very appealing and eye-catching; would definitely stand out from another set of bangles.

I absolutely love this Sweater! It looks very Old-Fashioned but I like the way the colours are arranged, it looks really playful, the colours are warm and I like the use of Royal Blue. This Sweater is not everybody’s cup of tea but I really like the look this girl went for.
Very nice J

I was simply just sitting down with my friend and then noticed the colours she had on. I just loved the contrast between them. Let’s not forget the pattern on the top which is really nice which is also Polka dot. I like the effect the burgundy scarf has on the blouse. It just looks really classy which is why I had to have a picture.
So just take a minute and admire it…
J

Hmm let me make this into the form of a colour scheme so I won’t forget…

This section of my Blog I have dedicated to my Endless love for Colour.
The Power that Colour has to revive anything old, turn the ugliest garment into the most Fashionable garment…I mean we really do owe it all to Colour!

Imagine a world without COLOUR….L

Well this section will consist of some of the Colour schemes I have in mind for when I actually design Clothes one day, just anything that may capture my eye when it comes to COLOUR and things that may also represent COLOUR in a very good way.
